APS Ajustadores y Peritos de Seguros was founded over three decades ago by a team of professionals specialized in technical inspections, risk assessment, and loss control for the industrial and maritime sectors.
Established in 1992 under the name APS Marítimos, the company initially focused on hull and marine risks. As our expertise expanded, we diversified into new lines and specialties. In 2000, we adopted our current name to reflect this broader scope
Since our foundation, we have achieved steady growth in the insurance and loss adjustment market. This evolution has positioned APS—regulated by Peru’s Superintendency of Banking, Insurance and Pension Funds (SBS)—as one of the most reputable and recognized firms in the industry.

Renato De los Ríos – General Manager
Loss Adjuster and Surveyor with extensive experience in marine, transportation, property, engineering, and aviation insurance.
Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Naval Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Administration, along with certification in Risk Management (G3100).
Recognized by the SBS (Superintendencia de Banca y Seguros) as an official appraiser (REPEV registry) and specialist in Hull & Machinery, Maritime Safety, Navigation & Seamanship, and Cargo Handling & Stowage.
